Most Certain Style evening gowns or cocktail dresses began as nightgown designs which we adapted at the request of a client. Our very popular asymmetric designs were inspired by our search for a nightgown inspired by the character of Helen of Troy, but our Helen nightgown refused to stay in the bedroom!
Following Helen's success a client asked us a for a short version and so 'Diana' was born, a short, fully lined version of our one shouder design.
Encourged by this and at the request of other clients we developed a range of dreses for lesiure wear, which, when made in more luxurious fabrics, make excellent evening gowns, not only stylish, but comfortable and flattering! Many of these include the equivalent of a shelf bra, making additional underwear unnecessary.
