Nyx is one of the most ancient of the Greek goddesses - the goddess of the Night. This design, inspired by the costume of the ancient greeks, is made from delicate rippling black chiffon. In this interpretation by designer Steven Charles a straight bottom layer is covered by a shorter, rippling 'bodice' layer in a V shape.
Vertical pleats in the chiffon create a visual illusion lengthening the figure
Trimmed with a black tassel.
According to legend, Nyx gave birth to Hypnos, the god of sleep, and the Oneiroi, bringers of dreams. Wrapped in tissue and delivered in our beautful ribbon sealed box this gown makes a beautiful gift for the woman who likes to play goddess, or sometimes, just likes to play.......
